MR. BBH (Big Boi Hurt) is an artist, speaker, and CEO of Blessed Entertainment whose music stands at the intersection of clean lyricism, real-life experience, and purpose-filled motivation. Born in Memphis and raised in North Carolina, he brings a grown-man perspective to hip-hop—balancing sharp delivery with a message that uplifts, challenges, and connects with audiences of all ages.
His talent was recognized early when he was named 2014 Gospel Hip Hop Artist of the Year by the Forsyth County Entertainment Awards. Since then, MR. BBH has evolved into a true crossover artist, creating music that resonates with families, faith-driven listeners, and anyone striving to grow. His sound is clean but never watered down—rooted in truth, maturity, and the desire to encouaging others to grow.
A major part of his story is transformation. After losing more than 200 pounds naturally, MR. BBH became a living example of discipline, faith, and self-improvement. MR. BBH has always been musically gifted. From a young age he was a lover of music, performing and playing a variety of instruments in his High School Bands. Throughout the course of his musical career he has won awards and the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life- performing at a variety of venues, making many public appearances- while recording new music. He loves being lead by the Spirit to write new music while riding his motorcycle or riding in his whip, taking long rides and during his travels. I once weighed 490 lbs.
